Peter Granucci
Portraiture, Landscapes & Figurative Art

Born in New Haven, CT, Peter Granucci’s talent for drawing emerged in his elementary school years and was encouraged by his family and teachers.  He studied at the Paier School of Art in New Haven, CT and then the School of Visual Arts in New York, graduating in 1975.
Peter settled in Gilsum, NH in the early 1980’s, creating his working studio in the back 1/3rd of a barn which he  dismantled, transported and then resurrected, on his picturesque property.  Peter’s work in portraiture and Impressionist-influenced landscapes gained him success and quick recognition and he was flown by patrons to Indonesia, Hawaii, Italy and other locations to complete commissioned works.
Peter is currently an adjunct professor at New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire and the Program Director of the Art School at Moco Arts in Keene, NH.  He is also available for private instruction and workshops.
Peter’s work is represented in many public and private collections, including:  AT & T International Collection, Exxon, Kollmorgen Corp, Bank of New Hampshire, Abex Corp., Sally Jesse Raphael, Bob Wolfe.  The artist and his work were profiled on the public television program, New Hampshire Crossroads.
